15th Nov 10

Top billing in terms of club activity this week goes to our fundraiser in the Ballroom of Romance, Glenfarne this Friday night when we host the very popular Jimmy Buckley and his band. They are a very highly rated band indeed and we hope that plenty of supporters and friends will be able to come and enjoy them.
The Lotto jackpot, now £3400, was not won on Sunday night. The numbers were 3, 7, 23 & 28. £20 each went to Anna Dudzik, Derrygonnelly, JJ Dolan, Belleek, and Anne Reihill, Skea. The draw will be in the Knockmore Bar this Sunday night.
It was with sadness that club members heard of the death of Mrs Annie Mc Gowan, Monea, last week. Mrs Mc Gowan's son Iggy was a very popular and influential player for our club in the 1990s. Sincerest condolences from all Harps to the Mc Gowan family.
The club are about to put in an order with O'Neills for another batch of our black Tara jackets, similar to those we received last year. Anyone who wishes to order one must get their name to Brendy by Sunday night.
Our club competed in the Under 13 7 a side blitz up at Lissan last Saturday. The lads improved as the day went on, and definitely gave a good account of themselves. Thanks very much to Garry and Dom for taking the team out on the day and for their work all season, they have been coaching weekly since mid April this year.
Please remember our AGM on Sunday December 5th at 5pm in the Community Centre. Anyone who has not received AGM papers yet should contact Anita, who will forward them to you.
Progress continues up at the club's development of our new changing and clubroom complex. The roofs of the new and existing changing rooms are now complete, and we are in the early stages of our electrical work. There is a possibility that we will be getting moving on some exterior plastering work as this week progresses and we hope to be keeping the momentum going that has been so well established since our project began in August. The support and interest from people to get involved is really tremendous.
Finally, congratulations to Skea on their progression to the Ulster final. Good luck with preparations for the big match.
